You can eat there or order takeout by calling them. Their pulled pork, brisket, and smoked sausage sandwiches are a must-try. With two locations in Louisville, it’s easy to enjoy their food. They treat guests to real pit-smoked BBQ, homemade sides, and handmade desserts. Their St. Louis-Style Spareribs are rubbed with a secret spice mix, smoked over hickory wood for 3 to 4 hours, and served with your choice of sauce. They come with 2 sides and a corn bread muffin. So I HAD to try a Triple D joint while in Louisville! First of all, everything was very good. I would say the star was the wings. Dry rubbed, smoked, and then fried-they had a very good flavor and were not dried out. They were unbreaded, so for some, they may find the skin "rubbery," but I found them very good. If you needed a sauce, the three sauces at the table all were a tasty topping for the wings. The vinegar bbq sauce was very flavorful, and the "hot" had a very nice back-end heat. I had a pulled pork slider, and a hot sausage slider, and really enjoyed the hot sausage. My friend had a fried bologna sandwich which he found "okay", granted we are from IL so that is not a staple in our parts. The cornbread was good, and the homemade pickles(not fried) I found delicious. The only minor disappointment was the baked beans. I was stoked for some homemade baked beans, and they were good but not what I was hoping for. Would I go back? Absolutely! We enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend you give them a visit.

As soon as you walk inside the building, the aroma makes your taste buds start to wake up, and before you know it, your mouth is watering for some tasty bbq! And this is the reason I have no food pics to post… I could not wait to dig-in! The pulled chicken was so tender and juicy! My husband had the grilled cheese and brisket sandwich with white cheddar for the cheese- delicious! Service was fabulous and attentive. Definite 10/10! Side note: the ladies bathroom was very small, so if you have a walker, you will need to be aware of the tight space restraint.

This is my new favorite BBQ spot! The food was phenomenal and the portion sizes were great! I ordered to-go, so I didn't get a sit down experience, but the overall vibe of the place seemed pretty cool. All their take out containers were recyclable and encouraged you to do so, which I really liked. Highly recommend this place, it is worth every penny!

This was our first visit… all i can say is WOW! The food was absolutely delicious, our waitress Donna was the absolute sweetest person ever, she said it was only her second weekend there and holy cow I was so impressed with the best service i’ve received in a while! Thank you so much for making our visit the best and they have the best atmosphere ever! very good !

Classic Famous Dave's. Excellent ribs, tasty brisket, and the best corn muffins around. Klinton was awesome! So pleasant to be taken care of by a server who understands what service means. He checked on me regularly, saw to my happiness, and made sure that I was a very happy customer!
