SNOW CITY CAFE REVIEWS

While it took about an hour and a half to two hours to get a table, this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in my life. Their eggs Benedict is absolutely incredible. Had a seasonal watermelon mimosa with a ginger syrup and their Milky Way mocha. Not only do they have amazing recipes, they clearly have amazing chefs. The cooking was excellent quality and the flavors were unbelievably delicious. Went in mid June so it was tourist season. Join their yelp waitlist in advance or go early. You will be thankful you went and waited. It’s fantastic.

I'm so glad we finally made it in to this place. We tried to get her last year but we didn't know the wait was so long. This year we KNEW and signed on the wait list before spending an hour wandering downtown. It was worth the wait. It's crowded, colorful and loud. The staff was all friendly, especially Anika! The mimosa hit the spot and the Benedict was PERFECTION. My brother had the French toast and Irish Coffee and said it was delightful as well!

The food here is absolutely delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy, and they were easily one of my all-time favorites—definitely in my top 10. My husband tried the crab cakes, which were incredibly tasty. The meat was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. There can be a bit of a wait when you arrive, but it’s 100% worth it. If you’re in the area, you must stop by!

MIDDLE WAY CAFE REVIEWS

We decided to try out Middle Way Cafe while in Anchorage and WOW was it amazing! The outdoor area is perfect for dogs! The food was fantastic! My daughter and I each had the B.A.L.T.O. Sandwich on toasted gluten free bread. They give you two sandwiches each! It was perfect to eat one there with the great chips & homemade salsa and then have the other sandwich for later. My son-in-law had the Reuben on sourdough and he loved it, as well. We also had some yummy desserts…the snickerdoodle cookie sandwich, gluten free raspberry cupcake and the gluten free/vegan Linzer bar. I highly recommend eating here and bringing your fur friend with you. Just be sure you have someone with you to sit outside with your pup while you go in to order.

Middle away Cafe is fantastic. In terms of quality and quantity, you get what you pay for and more! In my experience, the food has always been better in-house than to-go order. I can’t say enough about the quality of the food ingredients and the pleasant feeling it leaves on the stomach post gorge. Enjoy.

very delicious lunch here. i had the avocado melt(vegan) it came with the blue corn tortilla chips. i also had the vegan chocolate brownie with icing. brownie was a little dry but overall good, it did have a strong coconut taste if you’re opposed to that.

WHITE SPOT CAFE REVIEWS

Staying in Anchorage for a couple of days and had both breakfast and lunch at the White Spot cafe. It’s nothing fancy, a very old diner but the prices are reasonable, food is generous and really good and don’t miss the halibut sandwich! Best around, hands down. Highly recommend!

Perfect “local” diner right in the middle of town. It was very busy and we were invited to join 2 other couples at their table. Service was excellent. Portions were large and tasty. Prices were reasonable. We ate and walked out into the middle of the Fur Rondy celebration activities.

We loved this diner! I felt like I had stepped back in time to the 70s. We tried the Halibut Sandwich and a Halibut Melt. I would definitely give them both 5 stars. Friendly service too.
