24TH STREET CAFE REVIEWS
First time eating here, and we ate breakfast. I had the Cajon seafood omelet friend had Chicken fried steak and eggs, and was Finomanally delicious! I tried to eat here years ago since I'm in a wheelchair,we couldn't fit in the dinner we had left but since then they added the outside extension and it has plenty of room now and it's absolutely delicious food, Parking sadly is a pain in the backside. Highly recommend we'll worth waiting in the long line.
Classic Americana food. We had chicken and waffles, because we could! They let our little doggie come in which was wonderful. Very family friendly, and an extensive menu. Parking can be tight. There is often to wait on the weekends. Weekday, no problem.
Amanda, our server gave us amazing service. First time here and my experience was beyond comparable. Food was amazing, you can tell it's from scratch. Want to come here as much as I can. If you have to wait, it's worth it!

CAFE SMITTEN REVIEWS
Passing by Bakersfield and such a surprise to find this spot for breakfast. It satisfied everything I expected of a fine local cafe - interesting interior design (with a local twist), nutritious food with nice presentation, yummy drinks, and friendly staff. The street it faces looked like a reviving old street with diverse shops (only pity they are mostly closed in the morning).
Last minute decision to stop for breakfast. Very friendly service and unique food choices. Parking: Street parking and a lot adjacent to the building. Kid-friendliness: Unique decor and open spaces for kids to move around.
Everything about this place is great! The food is delicious! I definitely recommend this place !

PAPPYS COFFEE SHOP REVIEWS
1st timer driving through with TRUCK & TRAILER - parking in back and lots of semi trucks. Easy in&out gas station next to the restaurant. Seat you right away with good coffee real quick. Diverse population of people eating. Always filling your coffee and very nice. Tender meat for the Chile Colorado breakfast. Fresh, homemade chicken fried steak. We were in and out with breakfast and gas in ONE HOUR.
This place gave a rustic atmosphere. I feel like I could have enjoyed looking at old photos and some town history. Our server was friendly and answered our questions. Definitely gave mom and pop diner feel. Food portions were great, and taste was on point. Hats off to he chef. Will definitely be going back.
Third breakfast place finally a place where they are open early, grateful they were open early at 6. Love the atmosphere, food was delicious, service was great. Cook was on point with bacon and eggs on this day.
