3 Best Cafe in Corpus Christi, TX

We were in town for the day and looking for a place to eat brunch, Hester’s quickly became a place I saved to my list for all future visits! First of all, the cafe was adorable. Everyone was very friendly and polite. We ordered caramel frappes and drank them entirely, something we rarely do as we don’t come across many coffee shops with a coffee we like. We also ordered the Monkey berry smoothie which was tart, sweet, and delicious. For our table we ordered an omelet, chocolate Belgian waffles, and the turkey hash. They were sorry to tell me they didn’t have the turkey for my hash and made sure I was happy with whatever I replaced it with, just overall really good people and attentive service! I ended up subbing the turkey for regular sausage and it was still perfect! We unfortunately filled up before we could try any bakery items but it gives us the opportunity of coming back in to try.

Great place for breakfast. We were first-time visitors, but as soon as we walked in, a staff member approached us to explain the ordering process. That was very helpful. We had the Cheesy BEAT and the My Fair Lady. They were both delicious. Great atmosphere as well. There were plenty of families with young children. The restrooms were clean. The only thing that I disliked is that we were given a Smuckers single serve packet as a jam. I would think that a place that prepares such delicious food would make their own jam. Or at the very least something better than Smucker's. It seems like a place that gets very full, but we were there around 8 am. Highly recommend this place.

This is my favorite place to go for breakfast on my day off. They have great coffees to select from. A bunch of desserts and pastries to choose from. I had the almond croissant, and it had a cream honey and nut filling that was the best thing ever. We ate the Corpusborg omlette and the Louie Armstrong breakfast plate. The omlete was amazing and had chicken, veggies, guacamole, and salsa it was really good and filling.

The biscuits and gravy are a revelation – fluffy biscuits smothered in a rich, flavorful gravy that tastes homemade. The crispy bacon is cooked to perfection, a crunchy complement to any breakfast dish. And the silver dollar pancakes? They are, without a doubt, the cutest you will ever lay eyes on, perfectly portioned and incredibly delicious. Andy's Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone seeking hearty, delicious food and an experience that feels like stepping back into a simpler, friendlier time.

A great place for breakfast. We come here every time we visit from San Antonio. The eggs and bacon are delicious. The 3 dollars pancakes are cute and very tasty. And I have to mention their biscuits and gravy, very good. Also, the staff is very friendly and prompt. The overall atmosphere here is amazing. We even loved how so many regulars were eating here and the employees were on first name basis with them. They already knew their orders too! That’s just great customer service. We will keep coming back and definitely recommend this place.

Dropped in for a late lunch (sorry staff!!) they were so accommodating even though much of their food was already out of stock. The blueberry muffins were still coming out HOT! The chicken fried steak was the table hit! I got the Rueben sandwich - wasn’t the best but not sure what I was thinking ordering that at Andy’s. Oh well. My father in law had the liver and onions and enjoyed it! We got a basket of rolls and jalapeño corn bread and it was so good!!!
