3 Best Cafe in Kansas City, KS

I’ve been looking for an authentic cappuccino in the KC Metro. The espresso crema on my cappuccino here at Splitlog was authentic and tasted exquisite! Not to mention the drink was prepared beautifully. I thank the 2 baristas who were talented and cordial. I will make this drive from South KC often for this cappuccino in the future. (Starbucks in comparison overheats their espresso shots and scalds the milk, they make no crema, the whole drink is like burnt milk sadly, no depth or complex taste.

The breakfast burrito was one of the best I’ve had, also the cheese danish, I’d again drive an hour and a half easily for food and coffee like this! The brown sugar cinnamon latte was amazing as well. The seating area was nice, my friend and I sat and talked for a long time and the noise wasn’t interrupting our discussion at all. The baristas were very friendly and kind as well.

Best coffee shop in KCK. Great food, great coffee, very quaint atmosphere and the view of the city from the rooftop is awesome. Highly recommend.

Debbie and Rachel and two of the MOST friendly people I've met at a local coffeehouse. My wife and I travel quite often and always visit local coffeehouses and Windmill is right up there with the best of them. Great coffee. Americano for myself and a latte for my wife. Will definitely be return customers even though we live 30 minutes away.

We visited while on vacation. The staff was the friendliest of any coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Their coffee was so smooth and flavorful and not full of sugar and syrups like most places. We visited two days in a row we loved it so much. Go visit this amazing place.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My son participates in the toddler time Sponsored by Turner early learning center. Every other Friday they host a session at the windmill. The staff is so welcoming to all the wild toddlers, they are so patient. There are books and puzzles for the kids to play with. The owners are so supportive and excited to see the kiddos each day. My son loves coming to the coffee house and seeing his friends from class and all his friends that work here. Thank you so much for the delicious coffee and a great hang out! Definitely try the Carmelo ice hot. It’s the best.
