This is IT!! Wow!! Reddit said this was the best Indian food in KC. We were NOT disappointed!!! The staff here is amazing! They are SO friendly and kind. They showered us with attention and little treats. My wife and I ordered the mint naan and she got the tandoori chicken which she enjoyed very much. I got the Chicken Goa Curry at the suggestion of the owner. She was very right. It was magnificent!! This is a small family place in OP. Everyone was working on this July evening: Mom, Dad, daughter, sons…so cool. My wife is normally very sensitive to spice. She ordered hers mild and even had a few bites of my medium dish. It didn’t hurt her. The mango lassi was a nice touch. Rice pudding too. We can’t wait to return! What a GEM this place is. Just GO!!.

This place is so goood!! The food is awesome full of flavor and the staff is just incredible, they’re super friendly, they give you little Bites here and there besides your food with the best energy that just make you come back every time!!!! This time we order to go and while we were waiting they brought us little bites and some chai latte!!! That’s what we call full service to the best!! Thank you for always make everyone feel welcome and all your kindness!!!! Thank you.

Absolutely the Best Indian Cuisine Around! The butter chicken was DELICIOUS. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding—genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience by bringing us different things to try as well. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend to anyone craving delicious Indian food!.

As a Nepali, I can confidently say this is the only restaurant in the area that truly captures the flavors of Nepal. The food here is absolutely delicious and made with so much care. What I love most is that everything is prepared fresh—nothing is pre-made or rushed. You can taste the authenticity in every bite, from the aromatic spices to the perfectly cooked dishes. Just a heads-up: they are a bit slow, but it’s only because they prioritize quality and freshness. It’s not fast food like McDonald’s; it’s a labor of love, and the wait is totally worth it. So, if you’re planning to visit, please be patient and understand that good food takes time. Support local businesses, especially ones like Jyoti Kitchen that are keeping Nepali cuisine alive in Kansas City. You won’t regret it!.

The food was amazing! The atmosphere is like an 80's fast food restaurant, but it didn't matter because the food was so good. My husband likes it really spicy. So often Indian restaurants make it spicy American food, but this was truly spicy. Can't wait to go back and try something different. Thanks!.

From Colorado and came to Kansas City to visit family, so my family and I stopped by to eat. so far, everything is very good! Love the atmosphere, no loud music. Service is very good and the employees are very friendly and kind. The food is great, can't complain. They make everything fresh. Love the garlic Naan and Momo dumpling!.
