CAFE LATTE REVIEWS
The desserts here are excellent. The food is tasty and healthy. It can get quite busy so plan accordingly. Parking is limited, and very difficult at peak times. This is a cafeteria-style restaurant with soups, salads, espresso, sandwiches, desserts, among other things. The breads are great as well!
Their tres leches is hands down the best in the Twin Cities. TBH, I was pleasantly suprised that their pizza tasted really great. My family enjoyed it a lot. The place is really busy but the servers are very accommodating and friendly.
Fantastic!! cupcakes & cocoa then cheesecake to go. Been a go to for more than 2 decades. Tuttle Cake wow. What a great MN treasure

DAY BY DAY CAFE REVIEWS
Stopping here was my treat after a visit to the dentist (no Novocain). I had cheesy hash browns with egg and Bobby had the buckwheat pancakes, full stack. My English muffin came nicely crisp, just as I had ordered (I think Day by Day is the only breakfast place that manages to do a crisp one) and the egg, perfect as well. A side of half bacon, half sausage offered tasty full-flavored meats we quite enjoyed. The buckwheat pancakes with blueberries were massive and delicious. Service here is extraordinary. We ate on the patio which has a delightful ambience with a goldfish pond, plantings, and sculpture. This is a quirky, fun, and delicious breakfast and lunch stop. Do try it.
Utterly charming, fun, unconventional ambiance. Will absolutely return to enjoy the outdoor dining area in summer. Service was pleasant and efficient. Food was good.
Awesome little cafe that has great home style cooking. The staff are super friendly and the food came out fast. The decor is interesting with more space in back.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD CAFE REVIEWS
Best breakfast I've had in a long time. We were seated immediately and servers were right on it. Great menu choices and fantastic service. Food arrived quickly and was perfect. We were checked on regularly to see if we needed anything. The food plus the service made this a complete win. We are now customers for life and will be back the next time we are in town. Thank you for a great experience!
I had the Cajun breakfast. I had to write a review because I thought it was exceptional. Days later I am still thinking about how delicious it was. My bf had the slow turkey sandwich and it was also good. You pay at the register which we didn't know but eventually figured out lol. We liked the decorations they had for the holidays too.
These guys have great tasting food, and a menu with variety. I recommend their breakfast food and mimosas, as well as the bean burger. They also have a good selection of local beers on tap. Casual atmosphere with inviting staff, very fitting of the name. Our first visit was great, and we will be back.
