I only came here for the cake, which was divine! They have a variety of cakes to choose from. We had the Turtle and Chocolate Cake. The icing was sweet but not too sweet and the cake was rich and moist. They also have food options and a full coffee bar. It is cafeteria style ordering and took a second to orient to that process. You have to park on the street. I would go back for a slice of cake in a heartbeat.

Tucked into the heart of St. Paul’s Grand Avenue scene, Café Latte isn’t just a café—it’s an institution. A fusion of gourmet bakery, modern cafeteria, wine bar, and local art gallery, Café Latte delivers a one-of-a-kind experience that’s both upscale and unpretentious.

Mainly go there for the bakery items which are superb! I always get the Tres Leches or Turtle chocolate cake. The sandwiches are good here too.

DAY BY DAY CAFE REVIEWS

We were visiting over 4th of July weekend and everything was perfect! Their patio is dog friendly and very beautiful. Staff is super friendly and food is delicious for a good price. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

I’ve been coming to Day by Day Cafe for about 3 years now, and it never gets old. In the summer, I love sitting out on the patio with my dog—it’s such a peaceful spot with the little pond. And even in the winter months, it’s still one of my favorite brunch spots. The food is always great, and the vibe is super cozy. Definitely a go-to year-round!

We stayed at the air bnb upstairs above the cafe and then went downstairs to try out the cafe. Place is reasonably priced, and the food was great. I really enjoyed the fish for breakfast, and Brandy enjoyed the French toast, bacon, and eggs. The food was hot and fresh. Our waitress was nice. We would highly recommend it. Good place to eat and nice air bnb above. Thanks for having us. Hope to see you all again.

The staff were amazing; so kind, patient, and helpful. We were able to get a spot amidst a rush, and service was quick and accurate. The food itself was delicious, bursting with flavor and all the right textures in the places one might hope them to be. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and hope to come again soon.

Breakfast at the Neighborhood Cafe in St. Paul was awesome. My wife had the Migos platter and liked the cornbread pancakes and she said the refried black beans where super good. my Eggs Benedict was one of the best, the Hollandise sauce was the best I have had. If your in the Twin Cities, it is a must. Just off I-94 about 5 blocks of Selby.

As the name indicates, great neighborhood spot! We got seated within 10-15min at 12:30 on a Sunday with 4 people. We used street parking and spent about $65 for all of our meals. Service was great, food selection was perfect for our group, offering a brunch and lunch menu with a range of healthy to decant options! Would recommend the french toast, maple syrup felt a little watered down but still a great spread!
