Ordered a custom cake for a birthday/Father’s day. It was such a last minute request but they made it work! The price was pretty reasonable (attached the breakdown of price) and it was yummy! If you love lemon deserts, 100% recommend lemon heaven cake. As far as customization, they brought my little drawing for the cake into life.

The cakes are delicious! We have used them on many occasions for specialty cakes for Easter and birthdays. They often have extras in the case for last minute celebrations. I wish they had more gluten free items (there are 2) and vegan options (besides their angel food cake).

We used Magpies Bakery for our wedding and it was an absolute hit!! We did a 5” cake for my husband and I, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The design was also so elegant, they did a fantastic job on the cake. For our guests, we ordered 12 dozen cookies: 4 dozen of chocolate chip, sugar and M&M, and they all got eaten so quickly! Since our wedding, we’ve had probably 10 people reach out to us to ask where we got the cookies from because they can’t stop thinking about them! Thank you for doing a great job for our sweets at our wedding.

I know a lot of places don’t like giving birthday rewards Unless you buy something or you have bought something before. Im so happy this place isnt like that .. I had never been here before , But I heard you could get a small cake for your birthday , for free. So I signed up for the rewards program and got my free cake. It was Delicious! Now you have a new Customer :) That’s the way to do it. And the cashier was wonderful I wish I had gotten her name.

I’m gonna say this once and I’m gonna say out loud, I was at the hospital with my fiancé and I ran into these nothing Bundt cakes at the store in the hospital hands-down best cake I have ever ate and I’m 51 And that is saying something right there absolutely delicious, can’t wait to try the i40pie.

I never go to this side of town, and I never even knew The Village Bakery existed—but it truly is a diamond in the rough. It’s a very small bakery, but the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the most delicious smells. You’re surrounded by freshly baked cookies everywhere, and there are old-school toys displayed in a glass case, which makes it really unique and charming. It was so hard to choose from the display case because everything looked amazing. I ended up picking three different kinds of cookies to try, and they did not disappoint—they were all delicious. If you ever find yourself out on Chapman Highway, this place is absolutely worth the stop. Definitely one of the best-kept secrets around. If you want it shorter or more casual.

Best bakery in town. Our family has bought a few wedding cakes from here over the years. Quality of food and service is superior to everyone.
