3 Best Cakes in Lakewood, CO

We had the best experience working with Chef Janusz for our beautiful wedding cake! I wanted a vintage cake with fresh flowers, and Janusz made our vision come to life and even sketched us his vision for the cake beforehand. He built and decorated the cake onsite, and our guests were so impressed! Thank you Chef Janusz.

WOW! Wow wow wow wow wow... I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience using Elegant Bakery. I was in charge of designing, ordering, and picking up the cake for a surprise 50th birthday of a dear friend. The theme of the party was going to a combination of his favorite things; Legos, Bourbon and Gold Coins. I used AI to help come up with a design idea to combine those items into something that was elegant looking, and boy did they deliver in creating a cake that was PERFECT!! I provided the bottle of bourbon and the mini-fig, everything else is edible though and was designed by them. And not only did it look amazing, but it tasted great as well. I absolutely recommend using them!!! The first picture is what was created, the second picture is the inspiration.

I always like to order the petite fours for special occasions. They taste AMAZING, they don't need to be cut up like a cake, and they are adorable. I found them at Tony's meat market and tracked them to this bakery. They do an incredible job. You can always tell how good a cake is by how much is left in the plates after the party.... No crumbs left behind! Well worth the money.

I've ordered cakes here more than 3 times, never disappointed. Always delicious and gorgeous! I love coming here and will continue to do so. Welcoming, friendly, professional.

Apologies this review is so late, I got married in July 2025 at Red Rocks and we wanted a simple 2 tiered cake reflective of Red Rocks. I believe the baker's name was Sarah, who was very kind and professional for each call and visit to the store. The consultation was quick and easy, sample portions are big and affordable. We showed a few inspiration photos for the cake but also gave free reign for her to be creative (and keep it simple). We absolutely loved our cake and it was so delicious! (The cake toppers were not provided by the bakery**) The cost for the cake and delivery were well below several other bakeries in the area and overall we were extremely pleased with our experience and cake.

I was reluctant leaving 5 stars, because as a whole 5 stars are not deserved. My 5 stars are going to Candace, she was absolutely amazing and deserves a RAISE!!!! Christine made looking into wedding cakes seem like we were a huge bother. My now husband took the day off so we could come in and discuss our wedding cake (we called ahead and came in on a non busy day). We walked up to Christine to order our cake a couple months before the wedding and she let out a big sigh and said well usually you order a couple days before idk why you are here now. Well we want to get this done now. She told us to look at the books then proceeded to take personal calls yelling on the phone with her kids and a guy the whole time. We walked up and explained what we were thinking " a burgundy heart cake with some black roses" she again sighed and said that would be extra charge because that is overly complicated. Then got another phone call and turned away. Another 15 minutes passes, we left. We came back another day with Candace there. She helped us so much. She made everything a perfect happy experience as we could have hoped. Our cake and cupcakes arrived on time and as I sent Candace. She was amazing. We had one more dealing with Christine after I called to pay for the delivery fee and she made a huge issue and couldn't find the order and yelled at me saying I am a liar. The Northglenn store cleared everything up and everything was fine. I was able to pay off the delivery fee and all was good for the wedding day. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful. If Christine still works here, I hope her customer service skills improve because I left feeling so let down. She was downright RUDE. Candace on the other hand is absolutely amazing and again please give her a RAISE! She is literally the best part of our cake experience and why I am giving a 5 star review. She's a bad ass. Sorry not sorry. She is. Northglenn store also gets a 5 star because they helped when Christine refused to take my delivery fee payment because she couldn't find my order and yelled at me on the phone. Rude. Getting your wedding cake should be a fun and exciting experience. I remember as a kid coming into cakes by karen and picking out my birthday cake and having such a good experience. Candace is that experience. Please recognize her because she went above and beyond what we could have asked.
