Layer Cake Bakery

A modern and cozy looking contemporary bakery and pastry shop. The flowerless chocolate cake tastes as the name smooth and rich in chocolate. The almond blueberry tarte has a finer nutty note and is topped with whipped cream and blueberry. Opening time says until 7pm, we came at 7:30pm and we still were served, but were not allowed to sit inside . People still came until 7:45pm. The coffee and tea is a bit pricy, the cakes and pastries are well worth the price.

We just happened to be in the area and stopped in to Layer Cake Bakery for a quick bite of something sweet and to get a caffeine fix. The coffee was surprisingly smooth and hit the spot. The lemon bar and blueberry scone were both fine. It was a nice find as we were passing through. It looks like this bakery specializes in beautiful cakes and cupcakes. I would like to come back and try both.

Got a custom cake last year for my wife's birthday. Did all the communication via email, and they were beyond helpful and stayed in touch with me on every step. The cake was excellent and couldn't have been more perfect.
