Rare is the cardiologist who doesn't talk down to you. Dr. Alkouz is an excellent and experienced doctor who listened to my concerns, answered my many questions, and was patient throughout my appointment when he did my calcium CT cardiac scoring. I highly recommend him. He is kind and makes you feel like a valued person.

Dr. Alkouz is a very kind man and my sister and I had a great experience with him. He explained her condition to us and let us know what our options were. We decided on a plan of action together. He was not in a hurry at all, which is rare to find with a doctor's visit these days. We left the office calm and relaxed and in a good mood which is also very rare.

Dr. Alkouz is a wonderful doctor! He is thoughtful, and knowledgeable, and very professional. I am grateful to have him as my cardiologist.

I’m approaching 79, and in that life span I’ve had scores of physicians for various conditions. Dr. Kunz is clearly the best cardiologist I’ve ever had. His knowledge, skill, and willingness to discuss any questions or concerns, even outside his speciality, is rare for a doc in these times. If you need to see a cardiologist see him. And, on a tangential point, all the docs I’ve seen at NMHI are fantastic. They communicate and consult with each other on the different aspects of your condition, to give you—the patient—the best possible care.

Dr.Kunz is 10stars! He did a heart valve replacement on me and everything went perfectly! He’s calm compassionate and really cares for his patients. Thank you Dr Geoffrey Kunz.
