DONALD W. MYEARS, MD - MERCY CLINIC CARDIOLOGY REVIEWS
My experience at the brand new Heart Hospital has been five stars. Starting with the front entrance associates, every person I have encountered has been kind and helpful. Dr. Myears and his staff work hard to keep patients comfortable and keep procedures running efficiently. Nurse Tim is quick to respond to any questions the same day. The new facility is absolutely beautiful and super clean. It is not scary at all to have your ‘ticker’ checked out!
Dr. Myears has been my cardiologist/vascular surgeon for more than 12 years. He is not only an amazing surgeon who has saved my life more than once, he is also an amazing person who listens to you and addresses your concerns thoroughly. He is kind and empathetic. He is the only doctor I've had in 50 years that I always trust with my life.
Dr. Myears is a wonderful physician. Very thorough and detailed. He has become a friend. He has also saved my life a few times. Thanks to Dr. Myears. He is the reason why we have doctors!

JAMES BRIGGS RICE, III, MD - COXHEALTH REVIEWS
Dr Rice was coming down the hall of the hospital as I Coded. He jumped into action and didn’t quit until I was stable enough to move to ICU. He didn’t give up on me. I Thank God for using Dr Rice to save me. That was 9 years ago. I have had some heart issues but Dr Rice has always been there for me. I should have done this before but, we easily forget about the good things and sometimes focus on the bad things in our life. I know Dr Rice was a Godsend for me. I thank God for him. But not enough.
I moved back here from Mississippi. I had suffered a heart attack in MS in 2012 but, now needed to find a cardiologist in MO. I don't know exactly what led me to Dr. Rice. I'm not an overly religious person but, I think God had something to do with it. If you look up "amazing man and doctor" in the dictionary, there will be a picture of Dr. Rice.
He has a good bedside manner. Listens and answers questions and spends time without rushing through your appointment. Most importantly he is respectful of the patient and takes the time to explain what you need to know.
