“Dr. Brenda Peart graduated from Marshall's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Brenda Peart finished her residency program in internal medicine through the Tucson Hospital Medical Education Program. She has completed her cardiology fellowship at Marshall University. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Brenda Peart began practice as the first female cardiologist in Southern Arizona. Her areas of particular interest include women's heart health and clinical research. She has been the principal investigator or sub-investigator on more than 60 clinical research trials, including multi-center studies of cardiac pharmaceuticals and cardiac devices. Dr. Brenda Peart is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Heart Association, the Pima County Medical Society, and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Brenda Peart practices at the Carondelet Heart and Vascular Institute located at St. Joseph's. Dr Peart truly cares for her patients and provides excellent care.
