Dr. Lloyd Anderson is board-certified in both Neurology and Vascular Neurology. He obtained his medical education and residency from the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson. He did his Fellowship in Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease at the University of Arizona. Dr. Roderick has been a Co-Investigator and Principal Investigator in many clinical research trials involving acute stroke treatment and prevention. He is affiliated with Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital and Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System-Tucson. Dr. Roderick is a professional member of both the American Academy of Neurology and the American Stroke Association. He also consults at 551 W. Magee Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704. Dr. Anderson is currently in private practice with Western Neurology, Ltd. He remains active as a neurosonologist interpreting transcranial Doppler studies at the Carondelet Neurological Institute, where he is also the Director of Vascular Neurology. He is a member of the Brain Attack Team, helping lead the Carondelet Neurological Institute in obtaining Primary Stroke Center certification/recertification and providing telestroke coverage to Southern Arizona.
