They had to use napkins at the counter to open the door, and a hand sanitizer was available after you picked up your meal. They've got the best General Tao chicken and the steamed dumplings with a plum sauce. They use small, crunchy pieces of vegetables and big pieces of chicken with a very tasty sauce. The regular to-go container is filled to the brim with succulent bite-sized treats. Their lunch special is served with roasted pork fried rice and free 12 oz. Taste the spicy cold sesame noodles, vegetable, and bean curd soup, roast pork hunan style, broccoli shrimp and honey chicken.

Very large portion and very good pricing for those portions. Comes with a very yummy egg roll too! I got vegetable lo mein with my bourbon chicken, and the chicken is very tender, the bourbon sauce is nice and sweet and a great consistency, and the lo mein is absolutely the best lo mein I’ve ever had in my life!! I love Chinese food and eat it often, but this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to! Will be my new regular spot.

New China is one of the few Chinese take out places that offer General Tso's Tofu, which is my favorite Chinese dish!! I'm a vegetarian and I really appreciate the offering of this yummy dish. The tofu is fried nicely and not soggy or mushy at all. We order from here at least once a month and the food always delivers.

Beautifully done General Tso’s, in a very generous lunch special portion, and I was greeted and served by extremely friendly staff. I’m in heaven.

I was very impressed with the quality of the food and delivery via Uber I have walked to buy the foods. My daughter ordered the food via text from Wellington New Zealand. She is on a cruise ship. I will definitely order again from the China Kitchen.

So far only ordered the honey chicken for lunch which was absolutely fabulous other people that have ordered it love it too generous portions for sure for lunch and then the hot and sour is the best I've ever had. Thee best Will be trying some other things soon give it a shot.

I ordered the Magnolian Beef with Pork fried rice and an egg roll. The food was A1 and great customer service. Wish they were closer to me and I’ll take the 30 minute drive, that’s how good it was.

I pass about 5 other Chinese food places just to get to this particular location. Every time I eat at a different one, I regret it. This is hands down the best in the area. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, fast service and the food is amazing. The shrimp is HUGE, chicken and beef are tasty, too. The spicy meals could be spicier. This is the only Chinese place I'd go to in St Pete that I trust.

Great experience. Food was fresh. Listened to my special requests made and was ready on time. Will be my choice Chinese take out place if they continue to have great service!

We love stopping here for a quick cheap bite to eat at lunch! Portion is huge for the price. Dishes always taste consistent. We usually order the lunch chicken Lo mein with pork fried rice, sesame chicken with pork fried rice and sometimes we’ll get the fried chicken wings or a shrimp dish. All consistently good for the price. They provide rfresh cook it until you order it so it’s well above mall Chinese food level.
