KUNGFU KITCHEN REVIEWS

This is great Chinese with Szechuan dishes like spicy fish and salt, pepper shrimp, and mayo tofu. But it also has Americanized classics for mixed groups. But their noodles were very good for all eaters. Also buns and dumplings were great too.

Great service, great food at a great price in a really good location. When I came in, it was during lunch time but they were not busy. I was seated right away. It took me a while to go through the menu because the menu is extensive with lots of good options. I ended up ordering the fried rice with all different kinds of meat. The rice was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful, and it was also a great portion size for the price. Overall they have great quality and good portions at good prices.

Authentic chinese fair priced! Chef is from Henan. Secret menu item: lamb noodle soup The beef casserole is amazing: numbing & fragrant. The reviews here are legit, from every satisfied customer, me included. In this economy, it’s amazing you can still have these amazing dishes at such reasonable prices.

OLD TOWN TASTE REVIEWS

We visited Phoenix for spring break and our local friend recommended Old Town Taste. Totally worth the drive. We came with kids (ages 3–10) and they all enjoyed the food. The shrimp noodles, orange chicken, and dry fried string beans were a hit. The iPad menu with pictures made ordering easy, and the staff were very helpful. We loved the mapo tofu and Chongqing chicken. They are authentic, spicy, and numbing in the best way. Great food, family-friendly, and easy to order. Would come back.

The food was really good, with generous portions and just the right level of spice. The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the beef was very flavorful. The service was nice and the food came out quickly. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back.

The food here is really delicious. Everything was fresh and had a lot of authentic flavor. The servers were also really nice and restaurant was clean.

LITTLE SZECHUAN REVIEWS

For a little hole in the wall place, it will rock your socks off! Great fresh food in a nice setting. Owner came out and chatted with us and she was delightful. Please order some take out. They had no dine in option because of short staff but she let us eat there anyway.

We’ve been staying in Tempe for years during Spring Training and have been eying to try Little Szechuan for some time now. Well, tonight was the night and they did not disappoint in the least. We had some amazing pork chow mein and steamed rice with some sweet and sour pork which was terrific, but the star of the show was the house specialty chicken. Juicy chicken fried crispy with sliced garlic and green onion in a light garlic sauce. It was AMAZING. I’ll be thinking about this until we visit again next year. Can’t wait to go back. 10/10!.

This gem is a literal mom-and-pop shop in Tempe. If you've been coming here for any amount of time then you are on a first name basis with the owners who are the sweetest and kindest people. They have a large selection of gluten-free options which is so rare for a small Chinese food place. Everything I've had here has been great.
