Yen Du Restaurant

I’m in Stockton a couple times a year for family. Over the years I’ve built up a cadre of restaurants I like in the city, but Yen Du Is the ONLY one that is a must-visit. Over the 30 years I’ve been coming here, the quality and consistency of their food has been amazing. Three home runs: Sizzling Rice Soup, Pot Stickers, and Prawns Yen Du. That said, nothing on their menu has ever let me down. Guess where we’re going tonight!

Me and my wife tried Yen Du Chinese food. It was sooooo good. We had fried shrimp rice with fried chicken wings, crab rangoon puff and sweat and sour fried chicken and eight delicatessens mixed seafood with meat. Everything was cooked delicious and amazing. No complaints at all , service was good and place was clean

The food at Yen Du was wonderful, a great surprise. This is a very hidden gem!!! We have lived in Stockton three years and did not know it was her. The restaurant is beautiful also! The service was superior.

I’ve eaten at Yen Du for over 30 years and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s always clean and service is second to none. Of course I sometimes join friends who insist that the Chinese restaurant they choose is the best, but I always end up at my favorite one on Porter Ave. Two of my favorites there are their egg plant with garlic sauce and fried asparagus when in season….also their kim chee gets a thumbs up from me! - Tommy
