" Dr. Jason Durnas completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He focuses on learning to help athletes and has taken several extracurricular courses on addressing soft tissue injuries, adjusting extremities, and managing sports injuries better. Dr. Jason obtained his Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians in 2019. He completed over 300 hours of classroom and online courses for diagnosing and treating sports injuries, concussions, and emergency procedures. He also had over 100 on-the-field hours with athletes ranging from CrossFitters, professional BMX and Motocross riders, high school football players, triathletes, and runners. He completed a six-part practical exam and a 250-question board exam. He contributed a case study on nerve damage in a professional athlete caused by a shoulder injury. He practices at Action Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center. They routinely work on professional athletes, and Dr. Durnas is a traveling physician with Team USA and USA Wrestling. They do not lock you into long-term care plans and never make you pay up front for packages. Dr. Durnas is only the 421st chiropractor since 1980 to complete and be named a member of the Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians.
