“William R. Gallagher earned his B.A. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois, and his Juris Doctor from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology. After spending seven successful years as a trial attorney in the Lake and Cook County Public Defender Offices in Illinois, he moved to Cincinnati in 1994. Mr. Gallagher has a proven track record of success in jury trials and has tried 13 Capital Murder trials in three different states, with none of his clients receiving the death penalty. He is also a founding member of the Ohio Innocence Project, which is located at the University of Cincinnati Law School.
