I can't possibly say enough about how incredible our experience was with Ashton. My husband and I took 5 lessons before our wedding to practice our first dance, and everything about the experience (and the final result) was beyond perfect. My husband is over a foot taller than I am, so that's already an issue, and we are NOT natural dancers. But Ashton worked her magic on us and made us feel SO comfortable, during the lessons and during the actual dance! She was so sweet, encouraging, fun, and just an absolute joy to work with. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out, and we have only her to thank. If you are considering taking lessons for your first dance, I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place and ask for Ashton.

I purchased a groupon with the intention of learning how to just salsa dance last summer. I was hooked after my first lesson with Jay and have fallen in love with ballroom dancing and this studio. Jay and all of the instructors are so wonderful, so full of life, energy and happiness.

I've found the most welcoming community here.

BACKSTAGE DANCE STUDIO REVIEWS

We thank you very much for the Purple show tonight that we appreciated a lot. It brought us lots of emotions to see our daughter performing her Twinkle Twinkle Little Star dance. This show proved a great sense of organization from your studio and the very meticulous work that you develop with the dancers. We are very grateful for your hard work and bright ideas which help our children develop their skills, attitude, education and encourage them to act and live the events and the life they wish to live.

These past 2+ years dancing at Backstage have been Natalie and Naomi’s best time. We are so fortunate to have Natalie starting her ballet journey with Ms. Rhonda, Tap with Miss Tani, hip hop with Miss Alexis, and Ms. Kelly! And Naomi started off the best preschool year at The Learning Stage with Ms. Charmin and all the way up for ballet/tap and hip hop with Ms. Rhonda!! We have shared so many precious memories in dancing and each one of you will be in Natalie & Naomi’s mind for a long long time.

Dance and Backstage is just part of who my daughter is! Not only does she love dance, but gets a lot from being part of the community.

HENGDA DANCE ACADEMY REVIEWS

It's a small studio, but don't underestimate this place. They teach Western ballet and Chinese traditional dance, with classes for all ages and levels. For example, I took lessons here just as a hobby and was afraid I would not be able to keep up as a teenage beginner, but it turns out they have the perfect class for beginner youth. The teachers are really helpful and articulate. Their uniform is a bit on the expensive side, but buying the uniform is not required if you aren't as serious.

Having attended numerous performances choreographed by Heng Da, I have always been entertained and never disappointed. The dancers are well trained and rehearsed with attractive costumes and compelling music.

A wonderful place to make you fit, flexible, and happy. The teachers are professional and nice.
