Dance Institute of Dallas

I spent my entire dance career at DID from age 8 to age 22. Mrs. Shields and Miss Leia were the most wonderful, caring, fun and incredible teachers. I looked forward to going to dance every day and they always encouraged me to push myself beyond what I thought I could attain, while allowing me to decide my limits for that day. I'm beyond grateful for the discipline, passion and joy they passed on to me. Every skill taught in the classroom extended into how I acted and reacted both in and outside of the classroom. They made me not only a better dancer, but a better person and that is what truly matters.

The love I have for this studio is overwhelming. Norma and Leia always instilled confidence in me as a dancer no matter what troubles I faced. I will always be so thankful for everything they taught me and did for me. One day I’ll be back in!
