COPPELL NATURE PARK REVIEWS
Well maintained, clean bathrooms, beautifully marked trails. Straw was put down on areas that got muddy after a rain. Trails are marked. It’s a very peaceful place, especially on chilly days when not many people go out. I love that there are benches throughout the park and on the trails. If you’ve never been, I recommend taking a photo of the trail map before heading in, in case you get turned around.
This is a great place to walk dogs when it's otherwise too hot because of the shade the trees provide to the trail. Most of the other dog owners are also great. We have only had positive experiences here. Everyone does a good job training their dogs and keeping everyone safe and happy.
So many trails and things to see. It was 100 but with the tree cover, we were out of the sun and in some areas because it was a little windy, we got a nice breeze. Still an hour hike and we didn't get to see every path. Great place to walk your dog.

CARROLLTON BLUE TRAIL REVIEWS
A super amazing trail that runs through Carrollton. It has a lake to fish or just go enjoy the view. Also has a nature trail and a monarch pollination staton. Everyone is so friendly. You can park on the street or there is a little neighborhood you can park on the street and there are inlets to the trail throughout to enter and exit wherever you wish to park. Careful for your bait Ron’s of muskrats and cranes.
This park is the prime go-to place for birdwatching and picnicking. You have an abundant number of duck, geese, and other birds in and around the pond that creates a lively atmosphere for everyone. You can also walk along the paved trail around the pond, or sit on the benches alongside the pond and have a picnic. This is a perfect visit for families on the weekend.
Carrollton has some excellent trails and the Blue trail is beautiful and spacious and lovely. We did a pride event today and had 40 people out flying rainbow kites. It was amazingly fun.

ELM FORK NATURE PRESERVE TRAIL ENTRANCE REVIEWS
I had no idea that this little nature preserve even existed after growing up in Carrollton and now living here several years as an adult. We heard about this fun twilight lady bug release going on the Saturday evening before Easter and decided to check it out. It was a cute little event but the tour through the nature trail was great. What a cute little trail with some fun wildlife to learn about. This area is also a great spot for taking blue bonnet photos so we go some good ones while we were here!
This was a pleasure to find this gem. Nice easy track, good for quick run or max 1hr walk slowely. If you start going left, keep left all the time to see most, including the channel and lake which is a perl of this walk. Nicely connects with the fileds and small children playbround next to it. I havent noticed the traffic noise (like others noted), considering close by proximity to highway.
Nice and quiet place for little hiking trail with fresh air. Found some big wild mushroom!
