TOMMY STANDRIDGE STADIUM REVIEWS

Grew up in this stadium. 17 years of memories rooting for my team, standing on the sidelines, and finding my passion for football. As a kid, when my brother used to practice in the stadium, I would wrap my tiny little arms around the gate with my face pressed up against it just to watch them. Can’t wait to see what the new visitor stands will look like.

Great place to watch high school football. This was my first time watching high school football in Texas. It was raining that night. Tip, park as close as possible it's quite a hike. Fun place.

Excellent playground. School students team enjoy every Friday here.

A.W. PERRY HOMESTEAD MUSEUM REVIEWS

I just had my wedding at the A.W. Perry Museum March 29th. It’s the perfect private place to enjoy events. The park is always well maintained and peaceful- the grounds are truly beautiful, though I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting the museum. I would recommend this place for relaxing outings or quiet events.

I love the park and I wish I would have read the website before heading out. You have to make reservations for a visit/tour of the inside of the homestead. The outside is really nice though and they have a cute little free library outside.

Well kept settler museum with a good bit of local history shared on signs and markers able to be enjoyed after hours on your own in a clean park with good walking paths.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN CARROLLTON REVIEWS

Super excited to explore this area more. Moving here soon to one of the new apartments near by. Seems to be a craft store, restaurants a local bar and ice cream shop plus a nice town square with a small park. Also several unique gift or specialty shops. Great little area to walk to for something different then the tireless downtown Dallas zone.

The square is very pretty with a gazebo in the middle of a decent sized grass area. Christmastime there is a tree and everything is decorated. Lots of cute stores - candy, ice cream, antiques, cafes and restaurants. Lots of local events are held here with live music, booths of local vendors, kid's activities.

I grew up in Carrollton only a few minutes away from historic downtown Carrollton. I absolutely adore the development going on in this area. We now live in Carrollton raising our own kids and I love that they are doing multiple annual events a year. We go to the switchyard festival every year and it’s so family friendly with fun things for all ages. We also very much enjoyed the Halloween trick or treat event this year! We are regulars at 3 nations brewery and love to come and see all the excitement around the new development here. So excited to see what continues to develop and what new things are to come for this area!.
