CARROLLTON PUBLIC LIBRARY AT JOSEY RANCH LAKE REVIEWS
This library is in a great location. It has so many events for all different age groups. There is a play area and section just for young kids. Tons of study rooms are available. It even has free parking lot Wi-Fi. The library is clean and well maintained. I enjoyed looking at the books available and the different sections that they had. There is plenty of seating areas around the library. Some of the windows over look a beautiful lake nearby with many ducks. The library is connected to a walking trail. Definitely recommend looking into all the different events available.
Nice and spacious library with lots of variety in genres and ages. The children’s section is very large and there a plenty of computers to use in the main area. The study rooms are also comfortable. I enjoyed the fountain and walkway behind the library and there is even a small coffee shop before you enter for convenience.
Love this library and the peaceful area behind it. Love to either get a book and sit and read. And a beautiful day's like today, walk and enjoy the sunshine and water.

CARROLLTON PUBLIC LIBRARY AT HEBRON AND JOSEY REVIEWS
Good sized library with a lot of open space. Helpful staff, great displays and of course, tons of books and resources. I certainly wasn't expecting to find family friendly tabletop games, but I really appreciate how the library's offerings have expanded since I was a kid. Great place with a lot of freely available resources. Staff is consistently helpful, and the decor inspires and advocates for a love of reading. If you're here for voting, it's the hallway to the right when you come in. Also, the study rooms are excellent and fairly soundproof. Highly recommended.
Good library for kids family and parents. Not all books you need is out there e.but its clean organized and fits some need of your reading ask. It's one of the few public libraries I see which is highly maintained and welcoming . I loved my first experience and I hoping it continues the same. Will definitely recommend this place for all readers.
My grands love the library as you can see from the many books. We average a trip about 3 times per week. I really appreciate how the staff talks to my grands and not at them. They are always very helpful and the selections are wonderful.

A.W. Perry Homestead Museum is a renowned museum in Carrollton, TX. They established their homestead on 640 acres of land and constructed a house on the farm in 1857. Years later, in 1909, their son Dewitt Perry and his wife, Francis Grimes, dismantled the original house and utilized some of the lumber to construct the current house that stands as the Museum today. The A.W. Perry Homestead Museum is driven by its mission to provide all visitors with inclusive, diverse, and high-quality recreational and leisure opportunities while preserving the city's parks and natural resources. These endeavors contribute to their valued customers' safety, health, and enjoyment. The Museum offers a captivating window into the life of early settlers in north central Texas during the turn of the 20th century. A.W. Perry and his wife, Sarah Huffman, were courageous pioneers who arrived in Carrollton in 1844, originating from Carrollton, Illinois, as part of the Peters Colony settlement. This historical structure was lovingly restored in 1976 to commemorate the bicentennial celebration.

A.W. PERRY HOMESTEAD MUSEUM REVIEWS
Very well maintained property which is similar to Nash Farms in Grapevine, or perhaps 'Farmers Branch Historical Park,' which is the only other property other than perhaps, 'Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park' which mostly consists of properties that have been moved from their original "footprint." Their is only a 3 hour window to visit the property, from Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday 11AM-3PM, if you plain to see the interior, though since I stopped by (after remembering to check it out on Google Maps,) I just managed to pass by without realizing it, as I don't tend to venture out much. It's probably a good stopping ground for anyone intending to see Old Carrollton, as it's nearby, and is reminiscent of that time period.
This is a beautiful area for just enjoying peace away from the bustle of Downtown. I was present during the task of moving the building from its original location to here so its historical value could be enjoyed by the public. Well done!
I love the park and I wish I would have read the website before heading out. You have to make reservations for a visit/tour of the inside of the homestead. The outside is really nice though and they have a cute little free library outside.
