“ Dr. Melinda B. Musick is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She completed her dermatology residency at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and has practiced dermatology in Huntsville. She provides general diagnostic and consultative dermatology services and has developed specialized expertise in dermatopathology. She has a passion for research and has served as the principal investigator for more than 30 dermatology research studies. She completed two years of residency training in pathology and internal medicine at the Medical College of Georgia before beginning her dermatology residency. She attended the University of Georgia, earning an MA in Journalism in 1970, and later received a PhD in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana, where she focused on health care resource utilization. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. She also serves as volunteer clinical faculty for the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. ”
