Dr. Chad Gunnlaugsson obtained his MD with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He pursued his otolaryngology residency training and general surgical internship at the University of Michigan Hospitals. Dr. Gunnlaugsson was the recipient of the Jack Anderson memorial award for getting the highest score on the oral and written board examination conducted by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Gunnlaugsson focuses on allergy, sleep disorders, head & neck surgeries to pediatric and adult age groups. Dr. Chad Gunnlaugsson is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and proficient in treating and diagnosing OSAS by initiating CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) devices and surgical techniques. Dr. Gunnlaugsson is committed to delivering superior patient care for obtaining the safest and most current recommendations for his patients.
