Hiring Katharine was the best decision we made when it came to our wedding! We didn't have a clear direction when it came to theme, pricing, or timeline. Katharine helped us establish all of that off the bat. By just giving her a few descriptive words she was able to curate the most beautiful setting for our special day. She kept us on track, on budget, and added the most unique details. Katharine even hand painted our drink menu herself! She is a DIY genius! On the day of I didn't have to do a thing, from table settings to tipping the vendors at the end of the night she made sure everything was covered. Even months after our wedding she continued to follow up to make sure we were satisfied with our photographs and video. Katharine was such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her a hundred times over.

I hired Katharine for my wedding and it was the best decision I ever made! First and foremost, she's just an awesome person to be around! Secondly, her attention to detail throughout the whole process really blew us away. We told her the vibe we were looking for and she absolutely nailed it! Also, her intimate knowledge of/relationships with local vendors was straight up impressive.

Katharine was a true professional with the best personality! Not only did she have our confidence, she was a joy to work with. Always punctual, informative and calming! If you are on the fence about whether or not you need an event planner, YOU DO! Katharine is the best.

We worked with Syrie and the Social Maven team for our wedding this September and could not be more grateful for the time, care, and thought they put into our event. We worked closely with Syrie for a year and half to plan our wedding in my parents’ backyard. Syrie and her in team, in conjunction with our incredible vendors (all recommendations of Syrie’s) turned our backyard into a stunning and intimate venue for a wedding. We were fully present and able to spend time with our loved ones and each other on the day, all thanks to Syrie. Despite a very rainy morning, Syrie’s team made a beautiful outdoor evening ceremony and cocktail hour possible. Syrie always advocated for us throughout the process, and prioritized the comfort and enjoyment of our guests as well (which was very important to us). The planning process was largely stress-free, enjoyable, and our wedding was even better than we could have imagined. Rest assured that Syrie, her team, and the vendors she recommends will make your event memorable, personable, and beautiful down to every last detail.

Hiring Syrie and her team at social maven was the best decision of our wedding planning process! After watching her execute a wedding for my best friend in June of 2021, the first thing I did when I got engaged was reach out to Syrie. Our venue had an onsite coordinator (who was wonderful), but Syrie brought an added level of organization and attention to detail which allowed for the planning process to be as fun and stress free for myself and my fiancé. Syrie was always prompt and thorough in her responses on email and during meetings. On the day of, Syrie took care of everything and made sure the day flowed as smoothly as possible. Syrie and her team are wonderful and worth every dollar - she is the closest you can come to buying peace of mind during the wedding planning process.

My wife and I hired Syrie Roman as our wedding planners for the big day. Syrie is nothing short of a power house. She is in your corner 100%. Without Syrie, quite honestly our wedding may have never happened. Or at the very least looked the way it did. She was incredibly helpful and resourceful during the whole wedding process. The day off, everything was ran beautifully. Never once did I feel like things fell off the rails or didn’t go according to plan. The Social Maven, including Syrie and her whole team, are an invaluable asset to ANY wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend The Social Maven to anyone for their wedding planning and wedding day.
