" The Pickled Carrot is owned by Cuong Mai, a UNT Hospitality graduate. This food truck specializes in Banh Mi sandwiches and also serves other Vietnamese-inspired dishes. This is Denton's first permitted food truck and has been recognized as one of the top 100 dishes by the Dallas Observer. They offer catering services for weddings, birthdays, graduations, and corporate events. If you prefer to enjoy their food at home, you can place an order for delivery. Whomever is reading this, please please go check out the Pickled Carrot! Have been to the pickled carrot only once in person, but the customer service was amazing! It was a memorably kind interaction! The man that I presumed was the owner was helpful when navigating the menu, warm and inviting, along with having a great sense of humor. I have never been disappointed with a dish that I have received (I normally order through delivery apps) and I believe the portions to be very reasonably sized. The V-fries with their tofu is life changing, it’s been the only food item in Denton that I regularly crave! Today I tried the tofu noodle bowl and it was also wonderful. This might’ve been on accident, but I even received a second portion of the noodles which has made my whole day, probably even week! The flavor and freshness of their food is unmatched! They have a unique spin on Vietnamese cuisine while still keeping it simple and traditional. They care about their customers and put quality work into every dish that is made. The pricing is reasonably affordable especially for the quality that you are getting, its my occasional treat as a broke college student! I HIGHLY recommend the pickled carrot!.

Got a Pork Banh Mi and Egg Rolls delivered and everything traveled well. The food was still fresh and crispy, it was all delicious. The banh mi could use some more cilantro, but that might be my personal preference. The eggs rolls were really good.

The pork banh mi is full of all the flavors a person could ask for. For a smaller appetite I would get their noodles. For a splurge get the Viet Fries.

We savored every bite of the hibachi tofu fried rice, fish hibachi fried rice, and chicken hibachi rice we ordered for takeout. The flavors were superb and exceeded our expectations, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Bringing the food home to enjoy in the comfort of our own space was an added bonus, making for an overall wonderful experience. We enjoyed the meal so much that we will definitely be placing more orders in the future.

Absolutely random stop in. Saw it on Google and figured why not. Ridiculously delicious! Expensive, but the servings are HUGE! I'm talking 3-4 portions. 100% worth it. Keep this place in business. Can't wait to go back!.

Omg! Chubz Spudz is soooo good. I was not prepared for the portion size, like the loaded baked potato is huge! The pan was literally stuffed and so were the tacos! Did my boyfriend and I finish this in one setting absolutely not. This was my first time eating here and when I tell you I was NOT disappointed! The bbq sauce that they use is amazing, I love it! So don’t walk, don’t skip but run or drive and get yours as the wait is totally worth it. I can’t wait to go back.

The owners are supper friendly and helpful. Im from out of state and was looking for a good BBQ spot. Everything was amazing. The tacos and loaded spud where my favorite!.

Great food. The chubz spud with BBQ is fantastic. Brisket tacos are great also. The spud was so big we have leftovers so I can enjoy again tomorrow.
