Amazing! First time here! Celebrated our anniversary! As busy as it was, we were seated timely. The host ensured he was aware by communicating w us regularly! All service was on point. Escargot, sweetbread, beef bourginon and sand dabs excellent! Prices so reasonable. Bread pudding and lobster bisque, wow! Even my house salad was crisp, fresh, and excellent. I highly recommmend! My new favorite place.

Overall 5 stars despite being a little loud and crowded. Bizou is one of the last places around of its kind: a reasonably priced spot that hasn’t jacked up those prices in the last 2-3 years plus its got consistently good food with the vibe of a non pretentious French/European Restaurant. imo the pre fixe is the best value.

This is French comfort food at its best. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the n atmosphere is warm and cozy. PRO TIP - If you're curious about escargot, order it here, and you won't be disappointed.

LE SANGLIER FRENCH RESTAURANT REVIEWS

First of all, very loving place. The atmosphere is very nice and elegant. Secondly, the food presentation is exquisite and amazingly delicious. The place really reminds me of Paris with the french menu they offer. Thirdly, the staff and owner was super friendly and professional. The food was delivered on time. It’s one of my top favorite place to eat at.

Had the beet salad, pork calvados, lobster ravioli, and grand marinier souffle. Everything was excellent. The staff are lovely. The wine by the glass paired perfectly. I'd go every week if I could.

The sauteed mushroom appetizer shown in the picture is excellent.

DEUX BISTRO REVIEWS

Was lucky to find this place slightly out of the area and couldn’t be more happy with the food and service. Quaint French bistro in a small and nearly hidden French quarter section of Ventura blvd. Best Arnold Palmer I’ve ever had. Baguette with whipped butter was good enough (and huge) that it could have served as my entree. Scottish salmon perfectly cooked and the beef bourguignon was fork tender with wonderful subtle flavor. Topped it off with their crème brûlée for a wonderful French finish. I didn’t expect to see such large portions. Value is tremendous for what you get. They put care into this. Tim took care of us with just the right amount of attention. A real pro. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

My hubby and I ate here last night for the first time, and we loved it! My main dish was salmon served with green beans & broccolini and his was trout with asparagus. It tasted wonderful. Everything was fresh and with lots of herbs. We both recommend enjoying a lovely meal here.

First time at this delicious place, but definitely will not be the last! Loved everything we ate! From the bread, olives, French onion soup, escargot to entrees of trout almondine and roasted chicken. The dessert was amazing too.
