CHO CHO SAN THOUSAND OAKS REVIEWS

First time at Cho Cho San and it did not disappoint. We chose to come in early on a Sat evening, but, it was still very crowded. Requested a quiet table and, for the most part, got that. Great food, great presentation from Louie, great service and a reasonable price. We'll be back. So happy I found this place.

Dear Christ this place can get loud. The supper and entertainment was the best. The cook was amazing at his talent and his comedic presentation was on point. The price of food was a little shocking for this guy but the show added to it. I’d be interested in coming back.

We've lived in the area for decades and never visited this restaurant. Our kids suggested it. We enjoyed the Teppan "show" and everything he cooked up was delicious!

Annalie was our waitress. She served us well and made great recommendations. The melon soda was super delicious! To eat, We ordered 3 ramen and 1 teriyaki. The teriyaki chicken was delicious! My daughters loved the ramen. I ordered extra spicy and it was perfection to my taste buds. The atmosphere was blah…I rated the atmosphere 2 stars. The place smelled like sewage. Something is off with the plumbing. Nonetheless Service and food 5 stars.

If you’re looking for a ramen restaurant but don’t want to go into LA, well this place is for you. Every bowl I’ve tried here is very flavorful and super filling. And even if you’re not a super fan for noodles (weird), their appetizer game is on point. Spam musubi, takoyaki, kaarage, yuzu Brussels sprouts, garlic rice. Omg I could go on and on about their appetizers. Needless to say, check them out.

Large portion size, flavorful broth, only real gripe was the appetizers were about the price, if not a few dollars less than main course items. Taiyaki was excellent, tantan ramen has excellent broth with a nice heat that gives a slow burn at the end. Eggs come standard with ramen orders. Clean environment. Will definitely return in the future.

NORI JAPANESE GRILL REVIEWS

Nori Japanese Grill has become my favorite spot in Thousand Oaks. Their sushi burritos are a delightful fusion of fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making each bite a memorable experience. The menu offers a diverse range of options, from flavorful teriyaki dishes to vegan selections, catering to various dietary preferences. The casual and cozy atmosphere, combined with quick and friendly service, makes it an ideal place for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend giving Nori Japanese Grill a try!

We had a party of 13 for my child’s graduation and the food was excellent and the sushi so fresh. It’s a very small place which is cozy but for our party we sat outside which is shared covered patio with the pizza place next door. We had a wonderful time and they got the food out to us very quickly. Highly recommend it, the staff was very friendly.

Got take out from here. Always solid, also a good price. Beef bento box for $12, includes a small salad, rice and beef, and tempura. The other photo is of a spicy chicken bowl. It's pretty spicy so make sure you can handle. I recommend going here if you want easy takeout, with large portion and tasty food.
