THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

First time playing here on 11-19 and a nice treat. Really nice course and $50 to ride makes it a super value. Staff was friendly. U of Georgia men’s and women’s course had beautiful greens that were running 11 on the stimp. Plenty of land movement, and very few level approach shots. Can’t run the ball up onto greens as they are protected in front, so an aerial short game is needed to score well. Par 3s are difficult from the back 2 tee boxes. Student and faculty rates are great, and one of the best campus courses in the US.

A client brought me here for a round of golf. As someone who typically golfs the California desert, it was a beautiful change. The course is challenging and well laid out. It does not have what I would call a feature hole but it is solid and worth a round (or two).

What a beautiful and very well maintained golf course. Great bent grass greens and rolling Faile ways with some nice elevation changes.

LANE CREEK GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

Always a great place to play. Courses with less play seem to have trouble keeping their fairways and greens looking as good as Lane Creek. Still needs some work on the cart paths, but, overall this is easily my favorite place to play around Athens. No other course in Athens can play this well after a good rain. If some players can learn a little etiquette, and fix their ball marks on the greens, we would all appreciate that.

Lane Creek is a beautiful golf course, excellent rolling greens, manicured fairways with awesome staff. Been a member for a year and a half and couldn't be more happy. Daily game is run by some incredible players and people! Don't think twice about joining you'll be very satisfied !!!

Course was in great shape. The greens were firm but would hold shots. There is a good blend of holes that require shot shaping and others that allow you to be less accurate. One of the best courses in the Athens area.

Great experience here at Athens Country Club. My group had an exquisite time and delicious dinner. Thank you to our awesome bartender Christina and her perfectly blended drinks. Servers as well did wonderful keeping our glasses full! We can't wait to return! May God bless you richly!

The 18-hole course was beautiful and well maintained. Staff was super friendly and we had an awesome time!

Great golf course! This was my first time playing and would definitely love to be able to play it again one day.
