The architect Andrew Green completed a thorough restoration of the course, using previously unknown photos as design inspiration. The 2024 TOUR Championship and FedEx Cup Champion is Scottie Scheffler. The golf course has hosted the Women's Amateur, the 1963 Ryder Cup, and the 2001 U.S. Men's Amateur. The club's acclaimed Golf Shop showcases an extensive array of apparel, gifts, and memorabilia. East Lake Golf Club has proudly served as the permanent venue for the TOUR Championship, the culminating event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedEx Cup, where only the top 30 players on the points list qualify annually.”
