East Lake Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in Atlanta, Georgia, and the course is a top-notch private golf course that offers 18 holes with a Par 72 and a length of 6,886 yards at a slope of 137. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow, the golf course underwent modifications in 1913 by the classicist Donald Ross, whose design principles are still evident in the course today. East Lake Golf Club has a rich history of hosting several prestigious golf events, such as the 1950 U.S. Women's Amateur, the 1963 Ryder Cup, and the 2001 U.S. Men's Amateur. Additionally, the club's award-winning Golf Shop offers a wide selection of apparel, gifts, and souvenirs. Since 2005, East Lake Golf Club has been the permanent host of the TOUR Championship, which is the final event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedEx Cup. Only the top 30 players on the points list qualify for this event each year.
