3 Best Golf Courses in Chicago, IL

Sydney Marovitz is a chicago staple. Being the only easily accessible course from downtown chicago, the combination of skyline and Lake Michigan views create a truly unique golf experience. The nine holes are adequately maintained. It’s a relatively short course and does pose a challenge at times. Abysmal shots could potentially find a pedestrian walking nearby…that’s part of having a golf course in the heart of a major city I suppose. Our experience with the staff was a overwhelmingly positive. It’s not particularly cheap, but that’s to be expected and it’s still absolutely worth playing.

6 years ago Look. It's in the middle of the city and open to everyone. It's going to be slow. But what a nice way to play a long round of golf. The staff is friendly and helpful. Look out for the groundskeeper that has his dog with him, you should be having as good of a time as that dog is.

Course is a really neat course in the city. Was cool to golf with skyscrapers all around on one side and Lake Michigan on the other. It's a city ran course so conditions are as good as you'd expect for a city ran course.

Deal with many power outages in our area frequently so have placed several of these throughout the house in key areas and entry points. When power goes out just need to flip the switch and have you have light. You need to use the light bulb occasionally with power to make sure they are fully charged and will last a few hours when needed. Good price,trusted company. Highly recommend.

A beautiful day to golf, and nice staff as well. Challenging and beautiful course with fun but not too hard holes. Glad this course participates in the youth on course program because my son loves this course. Very well maintained as well.

Best golf course in the Chicago forest preserve collection. A bit longer than some of them and much better condition. Some sand bunkers and water hazards to provide additional challenge. Always beautiful, especially in the morning.
