Its central location allows access for both local attendees and visitors. At a height of 1,353 feet, it is the third-tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. The Skydeck features the Ledge, a series of glass enclosures that extend 4.3 feet outward from the structure, allowing visitors to view the city from above."

These elevators travel up to 96 floors and can reach speeds of approximately 22 miles per hour. The site has also introduced CloudBar, a designated space within the observation deck area."

"Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain was dedicated in 1927 and donated to the city by philanthropist Kate S. Buckingham, and is one of the largest fountains in the world. The fountain was built in a Rococo wedding cake style. The monument fountain is located in Grant Park, inspired by the Latona Fountain at Versailles. Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain is a beautiful center of sculpture, and the center jet shoots water into the air to a height of 150 feet during the show. The fountain provides a great show of water every hour for 20 minutes. Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain uses about 14,100 gallons of water per minute, transported by 134 jets. The fountain is one of the most beautiful fountains in America because of its landscape design, finely crafted bronze sculpture, and technological use. The fountain offers free admission for all visitors.

2026 Update: Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain is constructed primarily from pink Georgia marble, with additional granite components and bronze sculptural elements. The fountain incorporates a total of 820 lights, distributed across different sections: 16 in the top bowl, 72 in the upper trough, 204 in the inner trough, 432 in the lower trough, 24 in the isolated jets, 60 in the seahorse figures, and 12 in the bulrush features."

A great place to learn about Chicago and see spectacular views of the city!. I recommend pre-booking a ticket online, it helps speed up the process once you arrive. Before you reach the main attraction: The Ledge ( glass balcony extending off the building) you will walk through several informative displays of Chicago, a fun way to get to know about the city’s history. Once you get to The Ledge you will need to wait in line and you will only be given a few minutes to take pictures, they also provide a photography service, that I highly recommend to take for your memories. Once you finish taking pictures you can walk around their store and lobby area and enjoy the views!. Overall I had a wonderful time.

Easy to get in. Just go down a couple floors under the ground level and you can get tickets at the kiosks. There's a nice souvenir shop down there with plenty of options for Chicago paraphernalia, and lots of places to eat on the ground floor... the observation deck itself was pretty cool, and going through the little musume like information center before the awesome elevator experience was pretty neat. All in all, it was an unexpected experience. I thought it was just looking at a glass top with a view. It's definitely worth it.

An iconic piece of the Chicago skyline, that is even cooler to go inside of! Really cool observation deck, we could see surrounding states, and other surrounding building. Coolest observation deck I’ve been to and would love to visit again.

360 Chicago is a must-see for anyone visiting Chicago. The views from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building are simply breathtaking. You can see for miles in all directions, and the city skyline is truly stunning. The observatory is also equipped with interactive exhibits that teach you about the city's history and architecture. The staff at 360 Chicago are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to answer questions and help you find your way around. The observatory is also very clean and well-maintained.

This place was a breeze to visit , there was no wait and we got straight up in the first elevator. Some cool sections with the history and interactions before you reach the elevator, which is probably to keep you occupied if busy. Once at the top, fantastic and extensive views, worth every penny. Small queue for the glass floor, but moves quickly as you are limited to how long you can stay in there.

I love going up tall towers and this was no exception. Fantastic views of the Magnificent Mile, Lake Michigan, Lincoln Park and Willis Tower. On a clearer day, I've heard you can see the airports and other states but it was fairly cloudy when I went. Still a great experience. I did not personally do the TILT experience but ut looked like people were having fun with it.

The outrageously beautiful view was so worth the madness to figure out just how to get to the 40th floor! This wasn’t just a stay in a hotel…this was an experience that anyone who visits Chicago should take the opportunity to witness! Gorgeous views, breathtaking! I couldn’t stop glaring out the window day or night! If you go on the architecture boat cruise, you’ll see the hotel in the skyline! Thank you to the staff members Joel & Rob for doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable & comfortable. Thanks guys.

A stunning Chicago landmark! The Buckingham Fountain is absolutely beautiful, especially in the evening when it’s lit up and the water show is in full effect. It’s a perfect spot for photos, relaxing, or just taking in the skyline views. Located in Grant Park, it’s a great place to stop while exploring downtown. A must-visit if you’re in the city.

It was a nice fountain to see when we visited several years ago. We visited during the daytime and it offered a nice view of the city. It was a close walk from many places.
