SouthWood Golf Club, situated in Tallahassee, is a special facility built by The St. Joe Company and one of Florida's most popular layouts. The course has been masterfully designed by PGA Tour legend Fred Couples and his legendary design partner, the architect Gene Bates. SouthWood Golf Club is a state-of-the-art public facility nestled between rolling hills, grazing lands, and ancient oak trees covered in Spanish moss. The courses offer a pleasant and competitive golf experience for players at all levels. The clubhouse is a splendid 7,200-square-foot building with a wrap-around porch with views of the 9th green and 18th green and a dining room for 100 guests and is balanced by a majestic cherry and granite fireplace and a lovely bar. The interior has exposed ceilings and full-height windows offering an array of natural light and transparency. Parking facilities are available.

Golden Eagle Country Club is an 18-hole golf course constructed by world-famous golf course architect Tom Fazio. The course spans 6,965 yards from the back of the tees. The United States Golf Association ranked the most difficult challenge in Florida just six months after its opening in December 1986. Golden Eagle incorporates large fairways and strategically positioned Scottish bunkers to create a demanding and accessible course for both casual and serious golfers. It is obvious that the course architect took full advantage of the natural topography of the spectacular acreage surrounding the Golden Eagle. From the lush green links of the sculpted 18-hole golf course built by Tom Fazio to the lush Clubhouse-style Plantation, the Golden Eagle Country Club provides year-round fun for the entire family.
