Dr. Michael Mehrdad Forghani completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Cal State University Fullerton before pursuing his doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine (D.O.) at Midwestern University in Illinois, where he graduated with distinction, ranking in the top 10% of his class. He then successfully completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2001. Currently, he runs a private practice in Southern California and holds Board Certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). Dr. Forghani is actively involved in academia and holds positions as an assistant clinical professor at Western University in Pomona and as faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at UCI Medical Center. He is dedicated to teaching and mentoring students and residents in the field. Furthermore, he serves as a teaching faculty member in Women's Health at the West Anaheim Medical Center Internal Medicine residency program. Dr. Forghani's commitment to improving healthcare extends beyond his practice, as he has participated in medical missions to underserved areas in Latin America and contributes regularly to the Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiency Disease (FPID). Dr. Forghani's primary focus is to provide effective, minimally invasive, and advanced surgical solutions to women of all ages. His office practice centers around preventive gynecologic care, family planning, and fertility services. Additionally, he offers comprehensive care for routine and high-risk pregnancies, ensuring the well-being of both mother and child.
