I have been Dr. Ali's pt. for 12 yrs. and I know he is a very good ,kind and knowledgeable doctor. He does not believe in over-medicating but he understands that the more you take the more you will want and takes steps to avoid that .All of the opiates I have taken never worked much to dull the pain until I was given Gabapentin, then I was able to cut my opiates by 3/4. It stopped the screaming fire allover my upper back. I recommend him as a pain control specialist but you had better be in rea.

THIS IS TRUE, YES. "Dr. Ali is a true professional, who's primary concern is the health and care of his patients. He listens and displays compassion. He is certified in pain management, neurology, and psychiatry, which make for an effective combination to treat those that suffer due to chronic pain.

I got unbearable nerve pain on the head for days. I looked for neurologists in the area but most were unavailable. So glad they were able to see me bc of my condition. Front desk, Erica and the other lady, were very nice. Dr Brown was nice too.

The services that I received from Dr. Brown is extraordinary. Dr. Brown and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to family and friends.

Dr.Brown you have an excellent bedside manner. You helped me feel calm while in your care. I love you put things in layman's terms so that I can understand what's going on with my health. Thank you!.

Dr. Shoemaker is amazing. I attempted to have a nerve test by another doctor at Hoag and had to stop because I had a panic attack from the pain. The doctor was horrible and had no bedside manner. Dr. Shoemaker spends time before procedure asking main issues, where the pain is etc. Then during the procedure it’s almost painless. He talks you through the entire thing and is very calming. I highly recommend this doctor!.

Dr. Shoemaker takes time to listen to you and explains every detail of his findings. He is so kind and gentle. I would recommend him with very high regards.

Such an incredible experience. Dr. S was thorough and fully explained everything. Great staff. Good old fashion doctoring.
