3 Best Gynecologists in Kansas City, KS

My regular OBGYN doc referred me to Dr Staecker due to my complicated LS issues that needed a more professional specialist to treat me correctly and effectively. I am extremely happy with Dr Staecker and her nurse Alyssa. Dr Staecker knows a lot more than other professionals I have been to for LS. She is also very sweet and caring & good at explaining things. Her nurse Alyssa is very kind and always returns my calls and goes out of her way to assist me. Highly recommend this team!

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Findley and the entire team at KU Med for the exceptional care I received. Last August, after being diagnosed with uterine fibroids at the age of 28, I was devastated to learn from a gynecologic oncologist that I would need a full hysterectomy. The prospect of losing the ability to have children was heartbreaking. Desperate for a second opinion, I was referred to Dr. Findley. From our very first meeting, he offered me hope and reassurance, explaining that while one of the fibroids could potentially be cancerous, he was highly confident it was not. His intuition proved to be correct. Dr. Findley performed the surgery to remove the fibroids, and everything went smoothly. I am so thankful that I did not proceed with the hysterectomy, as the fibroid was ultimately not cancerous. His expertise and compassionate care allowed me to keep the option of having children in the future, which is something I will always be grateful for. During my one-year post-op check-up, Dr. Findley’s thoughtfulness was evident once again. He remembered personal details about me, like the grade I teach, even though it had been over a year since the surgery. His personal approach to patient care, combined with the attentiveness of the entire KU Med staff, made all the difference in my healing process. I am deeply thankful for Dr. Findley’s professionalism, kindness, and the outstanding care I received. I cannot say enough good things about it Dr. Findley! I saw him yesterday for a new patient consult. He was so nice, down to earth, and actually listened to me. I’ve dealt with endometriosis pain for over 20 years and feel that I’ve finally found a doctor that is going to be able to help me. He also was very understanding and patient with me, I get very anxious and emotional at appointments and usually cry the whole time, and he made me feel so much better and even had me laughing throughout the appointment. Thank you Dr. Findley for your amazing patient care! Also loved the front desk girls! So nice and funny!
