I’ve been seeing Hali for several years, I followed her from her previous salon to Malstrom. Malstrom is a lovely, relaxed salon and Hali is my hair guru. I’ve since moved away from Salt Lake and lived in London and Washington DC, but whenever I’m in town, I try to get in and see Hali! She always knows what I want — even when I don’t. Plus, she an excellent conversationalist; so intelligent and well read. Come for the haircut and leave looking great, armed with some fantastic book recommendations.

Tricia is amazing. I have gotten my hair colored and highlighted for years from her, each and every time with the same, beautiful results. I get compliments on the color frequently and am alway happy to refer them to her. She is kind, easy to communicate with and willing to adjust as needed. She’s very talented and a great person all around.

Mälstrom Salon is absolutely awesome! Izzy did my hair last minute because I wrote down my appointment wrong. She accommodated me and I was so grateful! Love my hair too!
