Utah's Hogle Zoo is a 42-acre zoo that houses animals from diverse ecosystems. The zoo is located at the mouth of Emigration Canyon. Hogle is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Utah’s Hogle Zoo offers a wide variety of zoo programming for learners of all ages and interests. Here, you can enjoy hundreds of resident animals in the African Savanna, Great Apes area, Primate Forest, Small Animal Building, Rocky Shores, Asian Highlands, and the new Aline W. Hogle exhibit. Only 10 percent of American zoos are accredited by the AZA. As part of the AZA, Hogle Zoo must abide by strict husbandry, education, and guest service requirements. At Utah's Hogle Zoo, picture yourself face-to-face with a rhino or feeding one of their giant Aldabra tortoises. The zoo's exhibits are home to more than 800 animals from diverse species.
