3 Best Hiking Trails in Ann Arbor, MI

I love Argo. It's a great place to go to for running, biking, swimming, kayaking, SUP, fishing, tubing, yoga, picnics, hiking and more. They rent kayaks, SUPs, and others during the summer months.

Great little hidden gem, Ann Arbor did a great job. Very clean ! Safe to swim, float and play.

Lovely place for a quick trail run and beautiful river views.

It's a nice park along the river front during the day and it's often pleasantly busy. There's plenty of wildlife to take in, a tree lined paved path providing dappled shade for mindful bikers, small groups of runners, on-leash dog walkers and strollers. There's a small boat launch doc for the rowing clubs and local teams for practice, a dirt road road entry to a dirt parking lot by the boat houses which needs maintenance, a small picnic area, and an outhouse. I hear there is also a dirt bike area and disc golf but I'm unfamiliar with those. Unfortunately, this park is in need of some maintenance and dusk to dawn security so stick with daytime hours. This park is obviously occupied overnight judging by the shift in demographic around dusk and the trash found each morning strewn about across the lawn, parking lot, and in some of the trees themselves. But, this hasn't stopped locals from enjoying the paved trail and the river access for the rowers during day time hours.

Small boat launch. Wide enough path for bikes and small groups. Some picnic features.

Beautiful, lots of trails, good for long distance walks or disc golfing. Parking available.
