"Flat Rock Park Trail is a traditional park with a diverse array of trails. The total length of the trail is 2.3 miles, and the elevation gain of the trail is 164 feet. The trail is a loop type, and it takes approximately 50 minutes to complete the entire trail. The trail features various covered pavilions, open picnic tables, playgrounds, and other open areas. It also includes a stunning waterfall that cascades over the flat rocks. Flat Rock Park Trail is an excellent place for a family picnic during the summer. Children can enjoy several playgrounds of different sizes on the large site, and the trail links up to the Fall Line Trace in the back. The park also includes a disc golf course for relaxation. Dogs are allowed in leashed areas.

If you’re looking for a breathtaking natural wonder, Providence Canyon State Park is an absolute must-visit! Known as Georgia’s ‘Little Grand Canyon,’ this stunning park offers incredible views of vibrant red, orange, and pink canyons formed over thousands of years. Whether you’re hiking the trails or just taking in the view from the observation deck, the beauty of the canyon is awe-inspiring. The park is peaceful, not overcrowded, and the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. I highly recommend exploring this hidden gem—you won’t be disappointed.

Such a interesting park. Both the beauty and the fascinating history of how this park was formed. We hiked down into the canyon. It’s wet so expect to get your shoes wet. Apparently it is deep enough that it’s below the water table. A hiking stick might be helpful too. If you don’t want to hike you can see a lot from the rim which is very close to parking. For people with RVs, there are 3 RV parking spots near the visitor center.

Awesome place, been wanting to get here for awhile. The South's version of the Grand Canyon. Aptly named The Little Grand Canyon. Has a rim to rim trail as well ones leading down to the base where you can walk to these canyons which are beyond cool. Excellent place if you're a nature lover. Also has plenty of bathrooms and a great gift shop but It's pretty cool exploring the canyons, especially when you can take your shoes off and walk on the cool creek bed which feels so good. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Frisbee golf enthusiasts will love the well-maintained course, and there are plenty of picnic areas for a relaxing day out. Whether you're looking for an active outing or a quiet escape in nature, Flat Rock Park has something for everyone.

After lunch, I took a trip to 6106 Warm Springs Road, Columbia, Georgia to visit.Flat Rock Park..I had a nice, peaceful rest.there.as.i walked. around the park as.krinh the falls.from different viewing areas..it's a very nice county run park that might need a little.more.upkeep and.i can see some.work being needed in the future. It's a nice little.trip.by vehicle.around.the park and looks like.a.fun place.for.a picnic.kr.jiat.to.eat some lunch.

Beautiful trails through the park; very serene atmosphere. Dog friendly with plenty of picnic spots around the lake. Beautiful views... and free:) Our dog loves spending the day exploring the woods. I would say it is a hidden gem 10 min away that I just found out about and am now hooked. It is a very relaxing and beautiful bike ride as well.

Awesome place to hang out for a family picnic, walk the dog or work out. Tons of space to park, covered picnic areas, trails, playgrounds and pretty views of the water. The park seems well maintained and safe. The tennis courts are great and they have two good sized playgrounds. Fishing is another good option here. The most important reason I will list is because it is a great place to take your dogs in the area. Please do not be ignorant we have a leash law in Columbus and keep your pets on a leash so all of us can have a good time.

Took my son and granddaughter here to get out of the house. It had rain so everything was wet… anyway they have a very nice playground for kids. Nice trail to walk and a pond which has a beautiful few. Also Geese and baby geese!! They are so adorable!! Very nice place to relax and let the kids play.

A great place to go for a walk, have a picnic or just take your kids to a playground.
