FLAT ROCK PARK TRAIL REVIEWS
One of my favorite parks in Columbus, ga. Nice and safe area. Plenty of Frisbee golf and two playgrounds. Water looks Serene and peaceful when going down the rocks. Fun and cooling during hot days. Nice full pond that's good for fishing and open areas for kite flying.
My absolute favorite park! I have a dog reactive German shepherd and here I never have an issue running into others. I always go to the far end hike the trail around the lake and through the woods.
I’ve been going here since 1960s. There’s something for everyone. Playground, lots of picnic tables, never very crowded, pet friendly, climbing places, beautiful running water, and of course lots of rocks!

COLUMBUS FALL LINE TRACE REVIEWS
What an amazing trail for walking, riding, or running. Several access points to the trail. Great signage with maps and mileage markers. Fairly flat with well maintained area on each side of the trail. Flashing lights at major road crossings. It gives access to Flat Rock park and has a park near the mall. Access to the River Walk is a little confusing but it does connect. Update: make sure to bring your own water as the only water fountains on the trail have been removed.
I've always enjoyed this trail. Hiking the full 12 miles or just running two or three- it's clean, typically not over-crowded (definitely not after you pass Flat-Rock) and the tree-line provides a good amount of shade 60% of the way.
I come all the way from bike trail impoverished Macon to ride here & the riverwalk trail ,, though i did notice busted auto glass in some parking spaces.
