I was a bit skeptical when I looked up this place, but turns out it's the best place in town. They have the biggest selection and very, VERY relaxed AND ATTENTIVE staff. I just bought a 214ce Taylor and multiple other knick-knacks. They helped me out immensely and helped me try out some small amps and even the grandaddy amps. The day of purchase I asked them to give me some private time, I set up 3 Taylors next to each other: 114ce, 214ce, and 314ce and one Fender acoustic 150 amp. After an hour of playing I stuck with the 214ce and was very happy. They also offer lessons which I recommend, beginner or beyond. For a much more reasonable price than other places. You won't regret coming in, don't be shy! Talk to the staff and get to know them! Some great folks that will chat forever. Thanks again, Everything Musical.

We have enjoyed Mr Ken Bailey’s piano lessons the past two years. He is amazing and has so much personality to capture the child’s interest. We have small recitals and my daughter has remained engaged in piano since age 5. She is now playing freely and confidently when we are out and about and she passes a lobby piano.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They always have what I need, too! Lessons, reeds, books...even a seafoam green guitar for my daughter for Christmas (okay, so I didn't I know I needed that until I saw it...but how cool that they HAD one.

SCHWOB MUSIC PREP REVIEWS

AJ is great. He is very personable and easy for my kids to relate to even over an iPad screen which I think is a talent in itself! He is very patient with both my boys. He isn’t just a good music teacher (which he is a wonderful musician) but he makes my kids want to learn music because of the way he enjoys it. He is great and we (me and my kids!) highly recommend him.

AJ has been teaching my daughter guitar for the last few months. She loves to play and has improved tremendously since lessons began. Meeting via Zoom is so wonder because we don’t have travel time. Plus all the sessions are recorded to watch later. Thanks AJ for doing such a great job.

I took piano there for about 6 years and it was a great experience, teachers have become family friends and it’s amazing. I’m now a piano major at a performing arts school, very successful.

My experience with the staff and teachers at the Columbus School of Music and Dance has been nothing but good and exciting. I have watched as both of my children learned music in a very friendly and nurturing environment. My children have bonded well with their teachers and look forward for their next lesson with great enthusiasm. At this school, there are a variety of teachers trained in several instruments, so the students could easily try a variety of instruments as they wished. Music is so important to our children's future, it helps in building talent, self confidence, relaxation and also helps in concentration. The additional dance opportunities also helps to compliment the musical skills all at one location. I have no hesitation in recommending the Columbus School of Music and Dance to my friends. YOU ARE GREAT.

Our experience at CSMD has been very fulfilling and has surpassed our expectations of what we hoped our children could accomplish at such a young age. We feel blessed to have our girls learn from such an enticing, energetic, gifted teacher who has passion for music and violin and shares that passion with his students. We've noticed, over the past year, that same passion developing in our children. Thank you for offering many opportunities for performing through recitals, public appearances, and group performances which build confidence in their performance ability. The family friendly atmosphere is a bonus to being part of CSMD. We always enjoy seeing the staff, teachers, and students when we attend practice.
