FAIRVIEW PARK
“Fairview Park is 208 acres with five distinct habitat zones, home to native plants & wildlife, scenic views & trails. The total trail loop is about 6.7 miles and is considered an easy trail, and it takes an average of 2 hours to complete the Trail. This is one of the largest park features, with 195 acres of open space, a natural area, and 13 acres of manicured landscape. There are two Nationally Registered Cultural Resource Historic Sites and five distinct habitat ecosystems home to many rare and endangered plant and animal species. The Park serves as a regional access point to the Santa Ana River Trail, the Orange Coast River Park, and the adjacent Orange County Talbert Regional Park. The park provides users with multiple passive recreational facilities such as picnicking, kite flying, wildlife observation, environmental education, and seven miles of trails for walking or bicycling.”
