“TeWinkle Park is a 49-acre park with a lake that offers play areas, ball fields, tennis courts, and picnic shelters. TeWinkle Park was named after Charles TeWinkle, a local businessman who arrived in Costa Mesa in 1920 with his partner "Goldie". He served as a director of several local banks and was later elected as the first mayor of the newly incorporated city of Costa Mesa in 1953. The park spans 49 acres and features a lake, as well as play areas, ball fields, tennis courts, and picnic shelters. Additionally, the park offers a wide range of amenities, such as fishing, playgrounds, tables, shelters, walking trails, restrooms, slides, swings, frisbees, rubber playground balls, green space, jogging, sports facilities, ducks, hiking, and dog parking. The park is an ideal location for families to unwind and relax.”
