SOUTH LAKES PARK REVIEWS
By far, my favorite park in Denton! It's a paved trail about 1.8 miles for biking, roller blading, running, and walking. You can even cast a line! I walk my dogs here often, and they love it, I wish more people would pick up after their dogs though. The park keepers do well in their part on maintaining the park's clealiness. For those with kids, definitely enjoy the playground! If you're lucky you'll even come across some community events like trunk or treat and even dentons mini walk/run-a-thon.
I have been to this place many many times and always enjoy it here. Great if you and your family are trying to do a picnic or a birthday party, lots of spots to choose from. You can also fish from the pond. There is a short trail or a long trail you can choose from. The children’s playground is huge and the kids always have fun there. Also has a basketball court and restrooms! Beautiful little walking trail park in Denton!l.
I love this park. My kids love this park. It's got a great running loop, a great playground, a couple ponds, a short hiking trail, and probably and ice cream truck. I've logged a lot of hours here.

CLEAR CREEK NATURAL HERITAGE CENTER REVIEWS
Wonderful place to go and hike. Trails are good and easy to follow. Great place to see wildlife. It is a perfect hike for weekend's. Never been to crowded when I was there. Be careful on the road out it is lined with trees and there is a sharp s curve just after the entrance it can be easly missed.
Probably one of the most beautiful trails in DFW especially with the fall foliage! Isn't completely flat and great fun with going off trail. Has some outdoor classroom settings which is great for homeschooling groups.
Fun walking trail. I went after work this time in the evening and saw a couple white tail deer. It was a really relaxing walk and a great way to escape the city.

CROSS TIMBERS PARK REVIEWS
This is one of my favorite walking trails. There are easy to walk on sections of concrete, and then there are numerous dirt and gravel trails that make you feel like you are far from civilization in the woods. I would recommend using a map app on your phone so you don't get lost, however.
This is a good park with woodland trails and an open area big enough for large picnics, playing fetch with a dog, etc. Be careful not to get lost in the woods if you leave the paved trails.
I love this place. I go here almost every day to play in all the equipment!
