TURNBULL CANYON REVIEWS

Great place to go hiking. Especially, during spring the flowers bloom and the hiking trail becomes very beautiful to walk in. There are multiple of trail openings, so far I know of Greenleaf and going all they way down Beverly.

Great hiking experience one of the best in LA county. If your looking for a all round hiking experience this is the place to go. You have. Easy trails and you have hard trails.

Great place to go hiking. You really excercise walking over the hill. Definitely coming back.

HELLMAN PARK REVIEWS

Hellman is my local hike/trail and i am so grateful that it’s so close to home. Today i came with a friend and we arrived at 8:40am so we could get good parking. The park ranger opened the gates at 8:50am and we were able to go right in. Be aware that the parking for the hike is extremely limited and you are unable to park on the streets next to the entrance due to required permits. So arrive early if you want to make sure you get a spot. If you don’t, you will have to park a little far from the trail. There are several routes you can take while doing this hike. One is typically the harder than the other which is nice because you can change routes as you go. On a clear day the view from the top is spectacular!.

Hellman park is a nice hiking spot. Whittier has lots of trails and you can get lost!! So just be careful and keep note on your steps . Always safe to bring someone with you. This is a wild life trail and one never knows what kind of wild animal can come your way. Caring a stick is always helpful. If you like strap hills and nature you’ll enjoy the trail. Keep hydrated and be safe. Till next time.

Very nice hiking trail in Whittier!! Have been going here for a long time to get some exercise while also having great views of the city and mountains . I would say the trail is intermediate but it also has a few paths that are easier in case you get too tired.

ARROYO PESCADERO TRAILHEAD REVIEWS

Cool spot to go for hike with kids. If they don't feel like doing much hiking it's just a small loop down and back up to the top. I like to make it a little longer when I go for run so I connect the trail to the other side of Colima Road and add some more miles to it. Has nice parking lot.

Beautiful Views of the City and Surrounding area. Safe parking a bathroom. Water fountain. The trail starts off high. Goes low into the valley and back up again. Not to hard. But so many Beautiful places for photos.

It was a lot of fun! My first time in CA, in general and first time hiking on trails like his. I’d go back.
