"Wilderness Park features two lakes, a playground tailored for children ages 2 to 12. The park offers facilities for your birthday parties, family picnics, and social gatherings. Wilderness Park is an excellent location for rollerblading or skating or biking. The park has a lot of grassy areas, soft benches, trees, walking paths, a large pond, and nearby picnic areas. Around the back of the park is an opening to a bike path that runs alongside the dry LA River. This park is a great spot for simple outdoor fun and easygoing activities. There's plenty of space to find a smooth place, though. You can go fishing here, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible. There are restrooms available for the public during the hours of operation. The park has parking for those driving to the park.

"Apollo Park is excellent for playing basketball and sitting while your kids play on the swings. Apollo Park has a green space with a playground, BBQs, ball diamonds, indoor and outdoor athletic courts, and restrooms. They've added three carousel-shaped lighted patios; each one has seven handicap-friendly picnic tables, three barbecues, and prepping tables, plus a trash can for each one. The park staff can better manage litterers, young adults, and teens. Apollo Park is best for sports and working out, and it can get busy on the weekends because of the teams that play there, but it's pretty calm during the week. Apollo Park used to be nice to the people all the time.

2026 Update: Apollo Park facility combines a public park with an indoor gym space, offering both outdoor recreation and structured physical activities in one location. The facility supports community engagement through organized programs and recreational opportunities. "Furman Park has over 15 acres of parkland, and sports such as baseball and tennis can be played at this public park. The park consists of three different playgrounds for kids of various ages and plenty of running space. Furman Park also has exercise equipment along the walking trail, which is designed for everyone, from older kids to adults. The recent advancements and renovations to the park, especially the upgrades to the playground structures, most attracted the children. Furman Park is suitable for all ages, and it has two separate play areas for different age groups and features a wide variety of slides and swings. The park has a fitness section for teens and adults and plenty of open space.
