"Franklin Mountains State Park is an elegant spot to have a great time with family and friends. The elevation gain of the trail is 958 feet. The trail is a loop type. The park encompasses approximately 27,000 acres and ensures various activities like hiking, bird watching, paragliding, and rock climbing. This is also an ideal destination for family reunions and fitness training grounds with more than 100 miles of trails throughout the park. Visitors can also enjoy beautiful weather, with winter temperatures ranging from 32°F to 60°F and summer temperatures ranging from 68°F to 95°F. Franklin Mountains State Park affords free admission for children aged 12 and under.
2026 Update: Franklin Mountains State Park offers camping facilities with 14 tent sites and 5 RV sites available for visitors. Group camps can also be rented for gatherings and organized activities. The area supports programs for clubs, scout groups, school groups, and other groups with more than eight participants. Visitor access and hiking group sizes may be limited, and trips can be adjusted or cancelled depending on weather conditions."
