El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center was founded in 1994 by Holocaust survivor Henry Kellen, which is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust. The museum is a monument to the millions of people who were violently murdered between 1933 and 1945 by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi government. The foundation is a nonprofit organization guided by a dedicated board of trustees, four employees, and hundreds of devoted volunteers. Visitors to the museum can learn about the Holocaust through the museum's permanent display, which includes several multimedia galleries that recount the events of the Holocaust. The museum's galleries are available in English and Spanish. In addition to Holocaust lectures, speaker events, a summer camp, educational seminars, and an annual Holocaust commemoration, the museum offers year-round programs.
