"El Paso Zoo spans a 35-acre complex and is home to over 220 types of animals, including native species and endangered animals. The zoo promotes the importance of animals and natural resources. People are encouraged to rediscover their affinity with nature by visiting the zoo. The zoo has a huge green space with unique creatures from all around the world, as well as family activities like the African star train and the Hunt family's splash pad. The zoo provides a 360-degree view of the local environment, four slides, a wild tunnel, log climbers, and cargo netting for children of all ages. The El Paso Zoo celebrates the importance of animals and natural resources while also offering people opportunities to connect with nature. The zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The zoo offers free admission for zoological society members and children ages two and under. Guided tours are also available.

"El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center was founded in 1994 by Holocaust survivor Henry Kellen, which is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust. The museum is a monument to the millions of people who were violently murdered between 1933 and 1945 by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi government. The foundation is a nonprofit organization guided by a dedicated board of trustees, four employees, and hundreds of devoted volunteers. Visitors to the museum can learn about the Holocaust through the museum's permanent display, which includes several multimedia galleries that recount the events of the Holocaust. The museum's galleries are available in English and Spanish. In addition to Holocaust lectures, speaker events, a summer camp, educational seminars, and an annual Holocaust commemoration, the museum offers year-round programs.
